Particles, Gravitation, and Cosmology
Graduate School 3–6 June 2027
Conference 7–11 June 2027
Avellino (AV) – Italy
The Quantum Universe Conference 2027, taking place from 7 to 11 June 2027 in Avellino, Italy, will bring together researchers working across particle physics, gravitation, cosmology, quantum field theory, astrophysics, and related areas of fundamental physics.
The conference is conceived as an interdisciplinary meeting devoted to some of the most important unresolved questions in contemporary physics. Its scientific programme will address topics including the nature of dark matter and dark energy, quantum gravity, neutrino physics, fundamental symmetries, physics beyond the Standard Model, early-Universe cosmology, and the connections between fundamental theory, astrophysical observations, and experimental searches.
Many of these challenges lie at the boundaries between traditionally separate disciplines. Progress increasingly requires the combined contribution of theoretical, phenomenological, experimental, and observational approaches. The conference therefore aims to create a common forum in which researchers from different communities can present recent results, compare methods, discuss open problems, and identify new connections between their respective fields.
The programme will include invited lectures, contributed talks, and dedicated discussion sessions. Particular attention will be given to both established research directions and emerging ideas, allowing participants to examine the current status of the field while also exploring unconventional approaches and future experimental or observational opportunities.
A central goal of the meeting is to encourage direct scientific interaction. Beyond the formal presentations, the programme will provide space for questions, open discussions, and informal exchanges among participants. These interactions are intended to stimulate critical debate, strengthen existing collaborations, and support the development of new international research networks.
The conference welcomes senior scientists, postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, and early-career researchers. By bringing together different generations and areas of expertise, the event seeks to promote a broad and constructive exchange of ideas and to offer younger researchers the opportunity to present their work within an international scientific environment.
The Quantum Universe Conference follows the Quantum Universe Graduate School, held from 3 to 6 June 2027. While the School is focused on advanced training and pedagogical lectures, the Conference is dedicated to the presentation and discussion of current research. Participants may attend the Conference independently or join the full programme, combining specialized training with a broader international research meeting
